SPRING FUNDRAISER 2024 – Save the date!

The 2024 Little Dolphins Spring Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 2nd 2024. More details will follow.

We are so excited that the annual Little Dolphins Spring Fundraiser gala “Havana Nights” will take place Saturday, April 22nd at Playa Studio.

It will be a great event and feature food, cocktails, dancing, a raffle of exciting prizes, and silent and live auctions! It is our hope that you can help us make the evening a huge success as all proceeds from our fundraiser will support tuition assistance, teacher benefits, professional development, and preserving our exceptional school property.

A Recap Summary on our Community Fundraisers 2021 – 2023:

70 cents of every tuition dollar goes directly towards TEACHER’S SALARIES.
20 cents of every tuition dollar goes directly towards RENT.
The remaining 10 cents of every tuition dollar goes towards teacher and staff health insurances, building and grounds improvements, infrastructure, the list goes on.

Below are the ways you can take part in this important, eagerly anticipated annual event:

Please donate merchandise, experiences or gift certificates to be sold during our live or silent auctions. While we ask that each family donate at least one item per child at the school, we encourage as many quality donations as possible.

What’s most important is the participation. We are striving for 100% participation from our families for our SPRING FUND. If any of our current or incoming families, cannot meet the suggested contribution, please give what you can. If you are able to exceed the suggested amount, of course we welcome your generosity. Every donation matters and is truly appreciated.

To help minimize the expense of the event itself, please consider underwriting a portion of our expenses with a simple monetary donation. Underwriters will be recognized at the event.

As Little Dolphins is a non-profit organization (Tax ID #95-454-8417), all contributions are tax deductible.

Your donations to our SPRING FUND go directly toward:

Providing comprehensive financial aid to qualifying families
Addition of the position of Director of Teaching and Learning
Development of leadership positions
Increased faculty capacity (+ addition of two floaters in case teachers are sick)
increased security by adding 12 cameras and hiring a consultant for emergency scenarios
adding an app to communicate emergencies
Full-time cleaning crew, plus additional disinfecting supplies
Securing and installing the new structure from which to hang the sails needed to shade the outdoor classrooms
Extra art materials

It has been wonderful this year to have all our families back in our beloved circle time tradition and in full attendance at our beautiful festivals. We really appreciate all the volunteer work and are so grateful that engagement is back to an all time high. A founding concept of the school was rooted in fostering community and we are very grateful to our parents that have supported our administration in this. We look forward to continued gathering and celebration of community and childhood.
