We welcome you to Little Dolphins By The Sea Preschool. We are excited to announce our new location for the 2008 -2009 school year at 1812 Stanford Street in Santa Monica. We offer a five-day a week program for children ages 2.6 (2 years and 6 months) through 4.8 (four years and 8 months) from the hours of 8:45am - 12:30pm. Our transitional kindergarten for children ages 4.10 (four years and 10 months) through 5.2 (five years and 2 months) is from the hours of 8:45am - 3:00pm. In the afternoon we offer after care for working parents.
We provide a multi-cultural curriculum with a multitude of hands-on learning experiences in art, music, theater, dramatic play, athletics and environmental awareness to name a few, all of which stimulate the senses and support different ways of learning.
We are a school where mutual respect and concern for our world is translated into action. Consistent with our mission of environmental education we are executing an adaptive re-use of the existing building from its current use to one appropriate for early childhood education.
