ADMISSIONS "HOW TO"

THE LITTLE DOLPHINS' WAY

"Even after seeing it for over a decade, every June I find myself completely overwhelmed with a renewed sense of pride, excitement,  love, and elation as I watch our graduates confidently stand in front of their families with a strong sense of self."

"It’s incredible how in just 2 or 3 short years in a place where they are cared for, nurtured, encouraged to make mistakes, and stand up for what they believe in, can transform quiet, unsure, and confused toddlers into kind, upstanding community members that love to learn about the world around them."

- AMY MARSTON, PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR

A LETTER FROM MARGARITA PAGLIAI, FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Thank you so much for your interest in Little Dolphins by the Sea. After nearly a quarter century, the Little Dolphins community continues to amaze me with its passion for education. I am grateful to have played a meaningful role in the lives of so many incredible children and families. We as a school dedicate ourselves to igniting the curiosity and creativity of our students at an early age. The way a child connects to and engages with their first academic institution is critical; it lays the foundation for all future educational encounters. We introduce children to school in a gentle and respectful way, treasuring and protecting the individuality of each child. In the past several years, we have begun to see our founding students graduate from universities and enter the workforce. They are pursuing their dreams with dignity and passion and we couldn’t be prouder.

At Little Dolphins, we measure success in one simple, but fundamental way: Have we fostered in our young students Curiosity, Creativity, and Community? Are our students engaged and motivated to become lifelong learners? Do they embody a growth-mindset coupled with the emotional intelligence needed to embark on their own individualized plan of education? Are they passionate about what they do? Are they connected with their dreams? And are they pursuing what it takes to make this world a better place?

Every day that I walk on campus, the answer unmistakably presents itself through countless examples of our students as impassioned, ethical, loving, resilient, supportive, and motivated individuals who strive for excellence and make us all so proud. We can rest assured that these are the types of citizens we send into the world — citizens who will stand for what they believe in, who innovate and imagine, who make a difference in local and global communities, and who inspire and touch through their creativity and passion, thereby making our world a better place for all.

This is the power of a single community working together to improve the lives of future generations. We invite impassioned parents with the same dedication to join our tight-knit community.

Thank you for your interest in our school.
